Notes:

1. This promotional offer is only eligible to commercial customers.

2. The promotional period is from 8 July to 30 September 2010, both dates inclusive ("the Promotional Period").

3. The handling fee waiver is only applicable to basic transaction fees for telegraphic transfers with upfront payments of standard rates (excluding payments subject to the Real Time Gross Settlement tariff) successfully processed via the customer's HSBC savings or current account in Hong Kong during the promotional period. Surcharges on additional services (if any) are not waived.

4. The basic transaction fees collected for telegraphic transfers will be rebated by 30 November 2010. Rebate will be settled in Hong Kong dollar. If only foreign currency accounts are available for crediting the cash rebate, the cash rebate will be converted from Hong Kong dollar according to the prevailing conversion rate as determined by the Bank on the date of crediting. Customers are not entitled to cash rebate if they have closed all savings and current account(s) prior to the date of crediting.

5. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional or preferential offers.

6. The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes arising from this promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final.

7. In the event of discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

The scope and eligibility requirements for our RMB services are subject to the RMB trade settlement scheme rules as promulgated by the relevant authorities. Commercial RMB services are only for conducting trade settlement transactions or such other transactions as allowed by the relevant authorities.
