Linkz Industries Limited (Linkz), established in 1981, is the largest original equipment manufacturer of local area network cables in Asia. The company is headquartered at the Hong Kong Science Park, with a manufacturing plant in Shanghai.

Commitment to environmental protection

Linkz is committed to the highest standards of environmental performance and management in its operations. The production plant in Shanghai has obtained ISO 14001 certification. Reflective roofs are installed at the warehouse, production plant and factory office to reduce the electricity consumption for lighting, and a natural cooling water recycling system is installed to replace the use of a cooling tower. In order to minimise the environmental impact of its products, Linkz applies the life-cycle assessment technique at the product design stage.

Linkz fosters a ‘Learn-Learn Strategy’ for employee development. Linkz actively contributes to the development and well-being of society, with its employees involved in providing voluntary training for various charities and social service organisations. Linkz also supports the ‘Mentorship Programme’ by organising employment seminars and arranging site visits for adolescents.
