Terms and conditions:
- Same-day remittance cutoff time is applicable from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Service is available for HKD/USD remittances from HSBC Hong Kong to a corporate account of HSBC in mainland China or Taiwan or Bank of Communications in mainland China. Customer must place the instructions via HSBCnet or Business Internet Banking before 4:30pm for payments to HSBC branches in mainland China and Taiwan and 4:00pm for payments to Bank of Communications in mainland China. The beneficiaries must be an onshore company in mainland China or a company in Taiwan.
- There must be sufficient funds in the remittance account, and valid information including beneficiary’s name, account number and branch SWIFT address of the beneficiary bank must be provided.
- Service is not applicable to large amount remittances, without complete supporting documents in place, transactions restricted by regulatory entities or transactions requiring foreign exchange or declarations. Remittance could be delayed due to compliance checking in accordance with regulatory requirements in mainland China for which HSBC is not liable. Please contact local HSBC branches for further details on the restrictions and the relevant terms and conditions.
- For same-day remittance to Hong Kong, payment instructions have to be submitted before 12:00 noon from HSBC accounts in mainland China or Taiwan or 2:30pm from Bank of Communications branches in mainland China. Please contact any HSBC branches in mainland China and Taiwan or Bank of Communications branches in mainland China for the applicable tariff and the relevant terms and conditions.
- Pearl River Delta to Hong Kong [PRD-to-HK] express remittance service cutoff time is applicable from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Service is available for HKD/USD remittances from HSBC Pearl River Delta branches (in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Dongguan) to HSBC Hong Kong. Please contact any HSBC branches in mainland China for the applicable tariff and the relevant terms and conditions.
- A handling fee of HK$80 is applicable for each telegraphic transfer to HSBC in mainland China, HK$90 for each telegraphic transfer to any other banks in mainland China, and HK$100 for each telegraphic transfer to any other banks in Taiwan, plus other surcharges (if applicable). This standard tariff applies for telegraphic transfer made via HSBCnet or Business Internet Banking as stipulated by the Bank from time to time.
