HSBC Business Direct


Applying for a HSBC Business Direct account is simple and easy.

  • Apply online or call our dedicated hotline to make an appointment with a nearby SME Centre for account opening
  • Bring along complete account opening documents and initial deposit to our SME Centre
  • You will receive your account number, Business Internet Banking security device, ATM card, Phonebanking PIN and all other PIN numbers on the same day you open your account^
  • Under normal circumstances, your account will be activated in two working days^
^ To receive all account accessories and PIN numbers on the same day of account opening, authorised signatories of the account must be present to complete and submit all the required documents, and be successfully approved for the account.
   
  Important Note:
Please note that Structured Investment Deposits (unless otherwise stated in the relevant Appendix to any related terms and conditions), Deposit Plus, HSBC's Certificates of Deposits, and any deposits charged to the Bank as security for banking facilities (including without limitation the deposits for the time being charged to the Bank under the security created under the Business Integrated Account General Terms and Conditions to secure the Secured Credit Facility) are not protected deposits and are not protected by the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Scheme. The repayment of the aforementioned deposits is not guaranteed by the Hong Kong SAR Government's Exchange Fund.
